Lifetime Warranty

We offer a Lifetime Warranty from the date of purchase, covering any manufacturing defects on jewellery. Manufacturing defects relate to the structural integrity of the jewellery and typically show within the early months of wear.

If your piece is deemed defective due to a manufacturing flaw, it will be repaired or replaced at no cost. Within the first 30 days of return, we will also cover all shipping costs.

What Is Covered

Our Lifetime Warranty covers manufacturing defects, such as:

  • Irregularities in metal casting or finishing

  • Surface blemishes or porosity present at the time of delivery

  • Issues with rhodium plating or metal finishing

  • Small certified diamonds falling out without signs of damage


What Is Not Covered

The Lifetime Warranty does not cover issues arising from daily wear, misuse, or external damage, including:

  • General wear and tear such as scratches, dents, or abrasions

  • Bent or broken prongs from impact or catching

  • Exposure to chemicals, chlorine, or harsh cleaning agents that corrode metal

  • Discolouration from cosmetics, pools, or bathing

  • Chipped or cracked stones caused by knocks or accidents

  • Loss or theft of jewellery

  • Repairs, alterations, or resizing performed outside Black Mango

How to Make a Warranty Claim

  1. Contact Us – Email us at contact@blackmangojewelry.com with proof of purchase, photos of the issue, and a description.

  2. Inspection – Our team will review your claim and arrange for inspection.

  3. Resolution – If the issue is covered under warranty, we will repair or replace the piece at no cost. If it is not covered, we will provide a repair quote for your approval.

Shipping

  • Australia – We cover return postage for approved warranty claims.

  • International (UK, US, Canada and beyond) – Customers are responsible for shipping to our Australian workshop. If approved, we will cover the cost of shipping the repaired or replaced item back to you.

Jewellery Care

Fine jewellery is delicate and benefits from proper care. To preserve its beauty:

  • Remove jewellery before sports, swimming, or household chores

  • Avoid exposure to harsh chemicals, perfumes, or lotions

  • Store pieces individually to prevent scratches

  • Consider annual professional servicing to check stone settings and polish metal

  • Protect your jewellery with specialist insurance for loss, theft, or accidental damage
